What is Precursors?
Precursors combines RPG, first-person shooter, and space-simulation elements in a galaxy of inhabited worlds, deserted ruins, and smuggler stations.
Players can travel freely across distinct planets and take on more than 250 quests. The game includes controllable ships, robots, and other vehicles, along with space battles that can involve boarding. Weapons include partly organic types whose ammunition must be bred. Players can trade goods through a complex circulation system and interact with hundreds of characters from different alien races. Weather, the time of day, and atmospheric conditions change in real time. The worlds range from early stages of evolution to decline, with varied environments and enemies such as plants, insects, and birdlike beings.
