Our take on Port Royale 4
Its defining structure combines a Caribbean economic simulation with turn-based naval battles, including engagements where up to 8 ships can act at once.
What is Port Royale 4?
Manage a colony in the Caribbean during the 17th century while representing England, France, Spain or the Netherlands.
Four campaigns follow each nation’s path to supremacy, and four character classes provide different advantages and disadvantages. Trade with 60 cities, connect production sites across islands, and route ships around cliffs, shallow waters and storms. Build from 50 building types, including 25 production sites, while managing neighborhood effects and citizen happiness. Reputation with the national viceroy unlocks permits, ships and buildings.
