The defining structure is the shared rule over two connected spaces: a defended dungeon that houses creatures and an Overworld where those forces spread Evilness.
What is Dungeons 4?
Dungeons 4 combines dungeon management with Overworld conquest.
Build a dungeon around creatures’ needs, protect it with traps and defenders, and command its inhabitants against settlements across forests and plains. Evilness gained through activities such as defeating mini bosses can transform the Overworld into dark biomes. Dwarves compete for underground space and resources while Elves and Humans send raiding parties toward the Dungeon’s heart. The game includes Horde, Undead, and Demon factions, a perk system for Thalya, and a customizable Evil Hand. Its structure includes a long narrated campaign, skirmish maps, and two-player co-op, with campaign and skirmish maps playable cooperatively.
