Our take on Oxygen
Rather than treating the city as the main structure, the game makes one life-support facility the settlement's center of gravity. Oxygen production, energy choices, stockpiling, and expansion all follow from keeping that facility operational in a hostile environment.
What is Oxygen?
Build a settlement around an Oxygen Center that produces oxygen through electrolysis of underground water.
Manage housing, water, food, workplaces, materials, and energy while guiding survivors through a post-apocalyptic environment with little oxygen in the air. Research buildings and other developments, assign people to jobs, and raise confidence and education levels. Prepare for droughts, frosts, deadly winds, and crack explosions by storing supplies and planning energy production. Coal provides electricity, while the settlement gradually moves toward sustainable energy sources. Explore abandoned areas, locate survivors, collect useful materials, and revive dead trees as the settlement expands.
