Our take on Highrise City
Its defining structure is the production-chain economy: urban expansion depends on organizing supplies and keeping the city’s resource system balanced.
What is Highrise City?
Highrise City combines city building with economy and resource management.
Players plan urban growth while organizing production chains and managing the supplies needed to keep the economy balanced. Each map provides 196 km² of buildable space, with cities supporting up to 40 million inhabitants, more than 30,000 buildings, and over 60 resources. Construction includes more than 310 base buildings, while laws and technology research offer ways to develop the city. The game includes five population levels, adjustable difficulty, missions and a story, resource trading, trash recycling, and a building editor. New Game Plus adds challenges and a blueprint mode. Maps draw on regions including New York, Vancouver, and Rio, and Steam Workshop integration supports sharing custom creations.
