Is ALL WILL FALL worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Colony-simulation players who want construction failures to affect city planning
- Strategy players who enjoy balancing production chains with competing faction needs
- Creative builders who want to make and share custom scenarios
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a forgiving builder may hit a wall when weight distribution, tension, and material strength cause structures to collapse.
- Players wanting a single fixed campaign may find the scenario, sandbox, editor, and changing-condition systems too involved.
- Players looking for squad-based alien combat will not find the turn-based military missions described for Xenonauts.
- Players seeking empire management across generations will not find the historical leadership and succession systems described for Old World.
Our take on ALL WILL FALL
The bounce point arrives when construction stops being cosmetic: a poorly balanced structure can collapse and damage the city. Players must also track faction demands, production chains, and survival conditions rather than treating the settlement as a simple decoration project.
What is ALL WILL FALL?
All Will Fall is a post-apocalyptic colony simulation set in a world covered by ocean.
Players expand a small settlement into a vertical city using a physics-based construction system where weight, tension, and material strength can cause structures to collapse. The city requires resource harvesting, logistics, production chains, research, housing, food, water, and leisure. Workers, Sailors, and Engineers provide different abilities and competing needs. Eight handcrafted Scenarios offer distinct maps, goals, and conditions, while custom scenarios and a level editor support altered resources, weather, progression, and random events. Exploration reveals resources and building areas as water levels change. A sandbox mode supports city building without survival pressure, with creations shareable through Steam Workshop.
How ALL WILL FALL plays
- 01Physics-based construction
- Uneven weight distribution, tension, or material strength can cause buildings and connected structures to collapse.
- 02Faction management
- Workers, Sailors, and Engineers have different traits, including access to boats or cranes, alongside competing societal needs.
- 03Eight campaign scenarios
- Each Scenario has its own narrative, map arrangement, objectives, atmosphere, and gameplay conditions.
- 04Changing water levels
- Receding tides expose new areas and resource nodes that can be reached with machinery, ladders, explosives, and other equipment.
- 05Custom scenario editor
- The editor changes maps, weather, resources, foundations, progression difficulty, society growth, and random-event types.
- 06Steam Workshop sharing
- Custom sandbox creations can be shared with the community through Steam Workshop.
ALL WILL FALL compared to similar games
Xenonauts focuses on turn-based squad operations against aliens, while All Will Fall centers on vertical city construction, colony needs, logistics, and structural physics. Old World follows historical empires across generations with marriage, heirs, and leadership, whereas All Will Fall uses eight scenario-based survival challenges plus custom level creation.
