Our take on Depraved
Instead of treating city building as a primarily peaceful growth exercise, the game makes resident welfare and frontier hazards central to expansion. Settlement location changes supply pressures, while poor conditions can lead to crime, departures, or conflict with nearby groups.
What is Depraved?
Depraved is a Wild West city builder with survival mechanics.
Each game begins in a procedurally generated world with one resource-filled carriage. Choose a settlement site, gather construction materials from nature or trade, and establish towns and supply outposts. Residents require food, water, clothing, and firewood, while different population types prefer different food sources. Shortages can reduce morale, trigger crime, or cause residents to leave. Storms, illness, dangerous animals, bandits, and raids threaten settlements. Desert regions make food and water difficult to secure, while snowy areas require steady firewood supplies. Native American groups may become trading partners or enemies depending on settlement choices.
