Our take on Lock's Quest
Rather than separating tower construction from combat, the game puts both roles in the same loop: defenses are arranged before each timed assault, while Lock fights directly beside them. Its story campaign and endless defense mode also sit alongside the core defensive structure.
What is Lock's Quest?
Lock plays as a boy drawn into a war between Kingdom Force and a revived Clockwork Army led by Lord Agony.
Each day, players prepare fortifications before a timed assault, placing turrets, traps, helpers, and other defensive units. Lock also joins the fighting through context-sensitive special attacks and wide-area super attacks. The campaign spans 75 days and 12 maps, with its story delivered through hand-drawn cinematics and cutscenes. An Endless Mode called Antonia Defense adds a separate map and battles focused on defending the capital. The remaster includes revised controls for keyboard, mouse, and gamepad, high-resolution artwork and interface elements, remastered music, and a progression system that adds turrets at story milestones.
