Romance and bullet-hell combat share the same story rather than sitting in separate modes. The 60-day courtship deadline adds a fixed time limit to the relationship plot, while player choices lead to multiple endings.
What is Star Girls?
Star Girls combines dating choices, bullet-hell battles, and light role-playing elements.
The player is a new recruit with 60 days to win a Star girl’s love before becoming cursed. Accompanied by the Commander and Vos, a robot assistant, the recruit searches for Star girls and can invite several to join the crew. Dialogue choices let the player shape the rookie’s manner, and each girl has distinct preferences, a personal story, items, costumes, and favored date locations.
Combat preparation involves training to improve stats, buying fighters, and choosing a Star girl as a copilot. The game includes six girls, multiple endings shaped by player actions, and 20 CGs unlocked through events and endings. Its dialogue is voice acted with lip-syncing and facial animation, and each planet has its own soundtrack.
