Our take on Airborne Empire
Rather than keeping city building on stable ground, the game makes altitude, balance, and propulsion part of settlement management. Its city-builder structure is paired with open-world travel, RPG quests, pirate defense, and modes ranging from pacifist play to escalating survival stages.
What is Airborne Empire?
Airborne Empire combines open-world exploration, city building, resource management, and RPG quests.
Players construct a flying settlement while maintaining its lift, balance, propulsion, defenses, infrastructure, and residents’ needs. The world contains five biomes, including Aeyrie, Blackspine, and Kingsfell, along with kingdoms, settlements, characters, trade opportunities, hidden treasures, and quests. Pirate threats can be met with defensive structures, weapons such as Freeze Cannons and Tesla Cannons, and aircraft. Exploration reveals relics and hidden technologies, while research provides new buildings, abilities, weapons, and city upgrades. Survival Mode contains 20 escalating pirate-attack stages, while Pacifist, Hard, and Creative modes change the focus or challenge.
