Our take on TerraScape
The defining structure is point-driven placement: buildings interact with nearby structures, resources, and biomes, while points determine further draws, unlocks, and Keep upgrades.
What is TerraScape?
TerraScape combines city building with puzzle play on randomly generated floating islands.
Place a Keep, choose a building deck, and position structures to gain positive influences from nearby buildings, resources, and biomes while avoiding negative effects. Points fund additional draws, unlocks, and Keep upgrades that open further deck choices. Building patterns can merge into more than a dozen complexes with stronger influences, bonus points, extra cards, or special effects. Modes include Kingdom, Scenarios, Puzzle Terras with 40+ levels, Creative Mode, weekly challenges, cooperative play for up to 4 players, and Versus matches for up to 4 players. The game excludes resource management, combat, citizen simulation, and free deck building.
How TerraScape plays
- 01Influence-Based Placement
- Buildings gain or lose value based on nearby structures, natural resources, and the biome where they are placed.
- 02Building Combinations
- Special arrangements merge structures into complexes that can grant stronger effects, bonus points, or additional cards.
- 03Multiple Game Modes
- Kingdom, Scenarios, Puzzle Terras, Creative Mode, weekly challenges, cooperative play, and Versus matches provide different objectives.
- 04Multiplayer Kingdoms
- Cooperative and competitive modes support matches with up to 4 players.
- 05Progressive Puzzle Levels
- Puzzle Terras contains more than 40 levels with increasingly difficult placement challenges.
