Expansion reaches new continents and planets across six biomes, with islands varying in shape and size. Ancient guardians create obstacles that require research and problem-solving. The game replaces neighbour-versus-neighbour resource wars and weapon-based conflict with settlement management, exploration, trade, and environmental concerns. Progress unfolds across a solar system of settlements at the player’s chosen pace.
