Our take on Iron Heart
Its defining structure is a 40-level descent through underground locations, with each stage moving the defenders closer to the source of the robot invasion.
What is Iron Heart?
Iron Heart is a tower defense game set in a Victorian-era steampunk world.
Invaders emerge from underground to enslave people on the surface, while the planet’s defenders resist in icy mines and an abandoned underground city. Players protect their machines by placing towers in tactically useful positions and using special skills against the invading army. Enemies have different characteristics: some are armored, some can fly, and others are vulnerable only to electricity. The game contains 40 levels with varying difficulty, 12 types of towers and skills, rewards for upgrading weaponry, and more than 15 special enemy characteristics. Progress through the levels leads deeper into the planet while the source of the threat is investigated.
