The bounce point arrives when the hunter must distinguish human-controlled deer from the AI herd. Players who do not enjoy reading behavior, waiting for attack openings, or managing proximity-based objectives may lose interest once the deception loop settles in.
What is Hoofobia?
Hoofobia is a 1v3 multiplayer game built around deception and survival.
Three players disguise themselves as deer within a herd controlled by AI, while one player takes the hunter role. Deer can ram the hunter, remain nearby to collect points, or lure the hunter into shooting too many AI deer and losing control. The game includes three described modes: Imposter Hunt, Stay Close, and Hit & Run. In Hit & Run, deer must remain inside the hunter’s bubble for 20 seconds before escaping to score. Matches take place across a dozen maps, with the hunter trying to identify the human-controlled deer before going insane.
