Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a fixed campaign path may bounce off the changing destinations and routes between runs.
- Players who want low-intensity shooting may hit a wall when the game combines rapid movement with repeated combat encounters.
- Players looking for climbing puzzles or a meditative ascent may find its combat-focused structure unsuitable.
- Players seeking multiplayer shooting may prefer a game built around cooperative play.
Our take on GTTOD
The bounce point arrives when movement and combat must be handled together. Players who are comfortable with shooting but not rapid traversal may hit the wall during the repeated runs toward the Summit, where changing routes make the same path unavailable.
What is GTTOD?
GTTOD is a fast-paced first-person roguelike set in a broken dimension called The Shatter.
Players control an armored survivor who combines rapid movement with reclaimed guns and equipment while fighting the World Sentinel’s armies. Runs involve exploring, collecting loot, and improving gear while climbing toward the Summit. Abilities granted by the Spirit of the World add further combat options, and permanent skill improvements extend progression across attempts. Death begins another run rather than ending the game. Each attempt changes the destinations and routes leading toward the Summit, creating a different path through the game’s combat and exploration structure.
How GTTOD plays

- The Spirit of the World grants powers that can be used against enemies.
GTTOD compared to similar games
Abyssus also combines shooting with roguelite runs, but it is built around multiplayer action, hand-crafted levels, and weapon modifications using ancient technologies. GTTOD instead centers on first-person parkour movement, changing destinations and routes, exploration, and permanent skill improvements.
