Our take on Aquamarine: Explorer's Edition
The journey is framed as a playable comic, with turn-based exploration across an alien ocean forming its central structure.
What is Aquamarine: Explorer's Edition?
Aquamarine is a turn-based adventure about a lone traveler, known as The Seeker, stranded on an alien water world.
After a signal disrupts the traveler’s ship, The Seeker crash-lands on an island with an amphibious survival pod and must cross the ocean to reach the crashed starcraft. The journey combines exploration, survival challenges, navigation, and environmental puzzles. Players forage for food, salvage tools, grow alien plants with different attributes, and craft upgrades for the pod. They can also adjust its loadout for different dives. Exploring the ocean reveals the planet’s past and information about why The Seeker arrived there. The game presents this journey in a turn-based playable-comic format.
