Our take on Cursed Crew
The crew can handle routine ship tasks without constant orders, but that autonomy comes with a morale cost: unhappy members may ignore commands or stop working. Managing the crew is therefore part of keeping the ship operating, not just a background feature.
What is Cursed Crew?
Cursed Crew is a crew-management roguelite about sailing a cursed ship and trying to break the curse.
The captain assigns orders, manages supplies and food, plots routes on a world map, and chooses story events that can lead to combat, treasure, or secrets. Crew members handle ship tasks such as repairs, fishing, building, and cooking, while morale affects whether they follow orders or work. Hunger, sleep, and morale needs accompany crafting and cooking. Combat includes ship-to-ship cannon fire and boarding fights, with random events, dynamic weather, pirates, and sea creatures adding hazards. Players can choose among ship types with different traits and starter loadouts, arrange and decorate the deck and floors, and customize the captain, crew, and flag.
How Cursed Crew plays

- 03Deck arrangement
- The ship’s deck and floors can be arranged and decorated around cannons, sleeping areas, storage, and crafting structures.
- 04Ship varieties
- Caravels, carracks, cogs, and raiders differ in traits and starter loadouts.
