What is Echoes?
Play as detective Ricky Fox as he investigates the death of his best friend, Arthur, in the small town of Greenhearth.
Search scenes for clues, question witnesses, and make choices that affect relationships, leads, and the direction of the investigation. The story shifts from film noir into Lovecraftian horror and has four distinct endings. Hand-painted artwork changes as the story progresses, moving from grayscale through black and white to a color finale. Minimal sound design supports the game’s intimate, cinematic presentation. The point-and-click controls frame the investigation, and Remote Play Together allows a friend to join the story.
