What is Across the Grooves?
Across the Grooves is an interactive graphic novel set in a magical-realism world.
Alice’s ordinary life in Bordeaux changes after an old vinyl record from her former lover, Ulysse, sends her into her own past. Returning to the present alters her reality, leading her on a journey through European cities to trace Ulysse and investigate the record’s origins. Each visit to the turntable opens another parallel reality and develops Alice’s personality through her decisions. The game combines hand-drawn comic-book artwork with a soundtrack that changes with the selected choices and scene mood. Multiple narrative routes and endings present different outcomes, while each playthrough forms a novel-length adventure focused on mystery, relationships, and self-discovery.
