Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking combat-focused action may bounce off the story-led adventure structure

- Players looking for a standalone setting without recurring series characters may find the returning cast less suitable
Our take on Deponia Doomsday
The bounce point comes when the adventure's time anomalies, absurd humor, and deliberately strange character cast become central to the experience. Players who want grounded storytelling or combat as the main activity may leave at that stage.
What is Deponia Doomsday?
Rufus wakes from a nightmare in which he sacrificed himself, Elysium crashed onto Deponia, and the planet was destroyed.
With McChronicle, a temporal scientist, he investigates time anomalies and a misplaced time machine to change those events. The adventure follows Rufus across Deponia and Elysium, combining story-driven exploration with action sequences, bizarre humor, and a hand-drawn comic presentation. Familiar characters return alongside more than 70 new ones, while time manipulation reveals another version of the junk planet's history.
