Our take on Yield! Fall of Rome
Its defining structure is the pairing of faction-specific solo campaigns with tactical 4X matches, giving each of the eight factions its own sequence of missions and objectives.
What is Yield! Fall of Rome?
Set in 401 AD as the Roman Empire approaches collapse, this turn-based 4X strategy game asks players to rebuild civilization and shape a faction's future.
Eight playable factions have distinct units, buildings, strengths, and weaknesses. Each faction has a solo campaign spanning multiple missions with long-term objectives, while policy decisions shape society and its relationship with Roman culture. Matches combine exploration, expansion, resource use, and conquest with tactical play.
Players can pursue trade or warfare, complete objectives to earn Crowns, and win by reaching the required total. Modes include solo campaigns, ranked and unranked multiplayer, seasonal leaderboards, dynamically generated campaigns, and custom games with adjustable victory conditions, Roman influence, map size, and borders.
