What is Glitchpunk?
Glitchpunk is a top-down action game about an android bounty hunter who can defy her programming.
The gameplay combines gun and melee combat with driving, vehicle theft, hacking and police chases, where wanted levels can escalate through 10 stages. Across four cities, players take contracts, earn money and upgrade the character while dealing with 12 gangs, each with its own stories, quests and culture. Choices can affect gang leaders and relationships, and the story has several endings. The setting explores themes including transhumanism, xenophobia and religion. Its presentation mixes 2D sprites with 3D environments, and an in-game radio plays music alongside news and fictional commercials.
