SimulationIs Autocraft worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Sandbox players who want to build and repeatedly test custom vehicles
- Puzzle players who enjoy solving physics challenges through experimentation
- Creative tinkerers interested in wiring, machinery, and destructive vehicle designs
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players looking for a tightly scripted campaign rather than open-ended construction and testing
- Players who prefer consistent action over repeated crashes, revisions, and mechanical experimentation
- Players seeking a focused vehicle simulator instead of a game spanning cars, aircraft, boats, robots, and weapons
Our take on Autocraft
Rather than treating vehicles as finished machines, the game makes construction and failure the central loop. Challenge levels function as testing grounds for custom designs, while wiring and part combinations replace the fixed loadouts common in many vehicle-focused games.
What is Autocraft?
Autocraft is a physics-based destruction sandbox centered on building and testing vehicles.
Players assemble cars, rockets, tanks, aircraft, boats, robots, and other machines from more than 100 parts, including propulsion, weapons, wheels, wings, pistons, drills, balloons, and rotating components. Mineral ore gathered across different worlds unlocks additional sandbox parts. The game includes 37 challenge levels, with multiple possible approaches to each one. A wiring system allows individual vehicle components to be adjusted and linked. Sandbox play also includes downloadable premade creations. Players can attach weapons, crash their machines, inspect the results, and revise their designs. The vendor lists online sharing of creations as a planned addition.
How Autocraft plays
- 01Modular Vehicle Building
- More than 100 components support machines ranging from cars and rockets to boats, robots, and aircraft.
- 02Ore-Based Unlocks
- Mineral collection on different worlds opens access to additional parts in the sandbox.
- 03Physics Challenges
- The campaign contains 37 levels, with several ways to complete each one.
- 04Component Wiring
- A wiring system lets builders configure the behavior of individual machine parts.
- 05Weaponized Testing
- Weapons such as cannons and missile launchers can be mounted on creations for destructive experiments.
