Our take on LogicBots
Its defining structure is that every puzzle is approached by building and wiring a robot, with some solutions requiring autonomous operation rather than direct control.
What is LogicBots?
LogicBots is a puzzle game centered on designing, assembling, and connecting robots to satisfy level requirements.
Some stages place the player in direct control, while others let the robot operate on its own after it has been configured. The game includes 40 levels, five tutorials, and three bonus objectives for each level. A sandbox mode supports open-ended construction, while the level builder and Workshop integration provide tools for creating and sharing stages. Parts and circuits can be combined in many ways, with physics affecting how robots behave. Language packs and a soundtrack by Brandon Penney, also known as Neon-Bard, are included.
How LogicBots plays
- 01Structured Puzzle Levels
- The campaign contains 40 stages, with three optional objectives attached to each one.
- 02Robot Construction
- Each stage requires selecting parts and connecting circuits to meet its specific requirements.
- 03Player Or Autonomous Control
- Robots can either be operated directly or left to perform the puzzle independently.
- 04Sandbox And Builder
- Separate tools support freeform construction and the creation of custom levels.
- 05Workshop Integration
- Custom stages can be shared through Workshop support.
- 06Physics-Based Behavior
- Robot actions and puzzle outcomes are affected by physics.
LogicBots compared to similar games
LogicBots focuses on assembling and wiring robots for puzzle stages, while SpaceChem centers on constructing factories that transform raw materials into chemical products. LogicBots also includes sandbox construction, a level builder, and Workshop integration; those functions are not described for SpaceChem.
