Our take on Yrminsul
The description emphasizes a large campaign and a persistent island map, but the combat structure remains tower defence: each defense uses a fixed selection of four turrets and four spells. The page also gives different counts for spells and towers in separate sections.
What is Yrminsul?
Yrminsul is a strategy campaign where battles take place as tower-defence stages.
Before each attack, players select four turrets and four spells, then use them against enemy armies with different strengths and weaknesses. The campaign involves choosing islands to invade, scouting enemy forces and defending territory as opponents try to retake islands. Control can shift between sides, and turrets remain on their islands unless enemies capture them. Infamy is the main resource, used for defenses, research and spying. The game includes more than 30 levels and enemies, 15 spells, and a storyline told partly through interactive comics. The vendor also describes a Deluxe Edition that includes the soundtrack and a comic of more than 100 pages.
