Our take on Wildmender
The gardening premise receives the clearest emphasis, but the game also requires food and water management, hazardous-region exploration, combat abilities, and battles against wraiths. It is a survival adventure with gardening at its center, rather than a gardening-only experience.
What is Wildmender?
Wildmender is a desert survival game about restoring a damaged world through gardening.
Players collect seeds and resources, grow plants, dig canals, manage food and water, and build structures and tools for an expanding garden. Exploration reaches the dunes, a drained and salted sea, poisoned canyons, and distant mountains, where players can find minerals, plants, animals, spirits, and temples. The game includes magic, weapons, abilities, and battles against wraiths that corrupt the land. Gardens and character outfits can be customized, while difficulty settings and game modes can change during play. Online co-op supports 1 to 4 players for shared gardening, exploration, resource management, and combat.
