Our take on GRIME II
Its broad combat customization comes with a setup burden: choosing from many weapons, armours, abilities, and enemy-derived molds is part of shaping each playstyle. That variety may be less suitable for players who want a fixed character build and a direct combat rhythm.
What is GRIME II?
GRIME II is a surreal action-adventure metroidvania set in a strange world shaped by art.
Playing as a Formless, absorb defeated creatures with hand-like tendrils and turn their forms into molds for combat and exploration. Molds can throw enemies, launch projectiles, stun targets, or become summons. Environmental objects can also damage enemies, while parrying and grasping let the player counter attacks and absorb foes. Exploration spans locations with distinct civilizations, cultures, and characters. Combat and progression can be customized with over 30 weapons, 60 armours, and 12 abilities, alongside mold summons that reveal enemy forms and secret paths.
