Our take on Luna Abyss
Rather than using a conventional third-person action-adventure structure, Luna Abyss places its traversal in first person and combines platforming with bullet-hell combat. Its prison setting frames exploration as an imposed sentence.
What is Luna Abyss?
Luna Abyss is a single-player action-adventure following Fawkes, a prisoner ordered to explore the depths of the mimic moon Luna.
The journey moves through a derelict megastructure and the remains of the lost colony of Greymont, where forgotten technology, cryptic messages, and the colony’s destruction reveal a wider mystery. An artificial prison guard named Aylin oversees the expedition. Movement centers on sprinting, jumping, and dashing through the ruins in first-person platforming sections. Combat pits Fawkes against corrupted souls and cosmic horrors, combining weapon use with bullet-hell encounters. Players adjust their tools during fights while uncovering the history of Luna, the Abyss, and Fawkes’s role in the doomed world.
