Our take on Threefold Recital
The defining structure is the convergence of three separate investigations: players switch among a wolf-monk, fox-priest, and snake-artist, then combine their distinct abilities as the story moves toward one shared conspiracy.
What is Threefold Recital?
Threefold Recital is a narrative adventure set in Bluescales, an oriental fantasy metropolis where magic, modern technology, and ancient technology coexist.
Humans, beastlings, and dragons live amid political tension after a long golden age, while a lost art connected to ancient miracles begins to reappear. The story follows three beastling heroes: Triratna, a wolf-turned-monk who can sever karma lines; Taiqing, a fox-turned-priest who transmutes substances and uses Daoist spells; and Transia, a snake-turned-artist who enters paintings and changes appearances. Guide the trio through connected mysteries, switch between their perspectives, and combine their abilities to overcome obstacles. Their separate storylines eventually converge as they investigate a conspiracy threatening Bluescales.
