What is Oknytt?
Oknytt is a point-and-click adventure set in a dark Norse medieval world shaped by Swedish folklore.
Players guide a small creature through areas filled with obstacles, creatures, and monsters while searching for a place to belong. Progress combines traditional item-based puzzles with four elemental runes. Each rune can alter the surrounding environment and has different uses depending on what appears in an area. Solving puzzles requires combining these environmental effects with available items. The game also includes lore about Scandinavian folklore creatures, an art style influenced by Swedish painter John Bauer, and full voice acting by Brian Hall. The puzzle-focused campaign is intended to last 6–7 hours.
