Our take on The Wratch's Den
The bounce point arrives when yearly hero waves begin pressing through the tunnels. Players who do not enjoy balancing excavation, purchases, dungeon layout, and defense within a short run may struggle once expansion competes directly with survival.
What is The Wratch's Den?
Manage a dungeon in turn-based runs focused on digging, defense, and expansion.
Extract gold from underground areas, return it to the Wratch, and spend it on monsters, traps, and technologies. New rooms become available as digging continues, allowing different dungeon layouts and functions. These include facilities for training orcs and goblins, crafting equipment, trading with heroes, and deploying snakes. Waves of heroes enter the tunnels each year and attempt to overthrow the Wratch, requiring defenses and upgraded forces. The main objective is to find three Orbs of Infinite Power so the Wratch can restore their Dominion. Runs generally take 20 to 40 minutes, with four difficulty modes and an endless mode.
