Our take on The Isle of Cats
Its focus on fitting cat families into a rescue boat trades broad tactical variety for a concentrated placement puzzle. The rotating Rescues and challenges add variation, but the central activity remains arranging tiles and managing resources within that structure.
What is The Isle of Cats?
The Isle of Cats is a competitive digital board game about rescuing cats before Lord Vesh arrives.
Each cat appears on a distinct tile, and players arrange the tiles on personal boats while keeping color families together and managing resources. Mystical Oshax, lessons, and treasures add further choices. Single-player PVE games receive rotating Rescues every few days, changing rules and objectives. Ten challenges add alternative puzzles, each with two difficulty levels, including boats filled with treasure and cats with different placement preferences. Seasonal leaderboards compare results, while 15 achievements track progress from Skipper to Master Mariner.
