Our take on Dune: Imperium
Its ten-round structure gives each decision a defined window, but also limits the time available to recover from spreading forces too thin or pursuing the wrong alliances. The dual-purpose cards add flexibility while requiring trade-offs between immediate resources and longer-term deck development.
What is Dune: Imperium?
Lead one of the Great Houses in a struggle for control of Arrakis and its Spice.
The game combines deck-building with worker placement across ten rounds, each centered on a new planetary Conflict. Draw five cards per round, then use them either to send Agents into the Imperium for resources or to Reveal them when purchasing cards for the deck. Build Influence with the Emperor, Spacing Guild, Bene Gesserit, and Fremen while balancing political alliances, economic strength, and military force. Play online, locally with AI, or against House Hagal. The game also includes Achievements, more than a dozen Challenges, and a rotating Skirmish Mode with changing conditions.

Dune: Imperium compared to similar games
Dune: Imperium focuses on ten-round deck-building, worker placement, faction Influence, and planetary Conflicts, unlike Xenonauts, which uses turn-based squads to defend Earth and recover alien technology. Old World follows empires across multiple generations with marriage, heirs, and long-term legacy management, while Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation centers on managing vast armies across a galactic setting.
