Our take on Tavernacle!
The brewery theme gives the defense a clear objective, but the moment-to-moment work centers on collecting materials and placing defenses. The emphasis is on coordinating those jobs during enemy attacks, rather than managing a settlement or directing a force from above.
What is Tavernacle!?
Tavernacle!
is a cooperative defense game for one to four players. Players control Dwarves who gather materials across maps while dodging enemy attacks, then use resources to defend a brewery from waves of monsters. Building options include towers, traps, and explosives. Players can mine stone, clear trees, and smelt iron, while keeping track of supplies needed for construction. The Dwarves fight on the ground rather than directing the defense from above. Cooperative play is available online or in local split-screen, with teams working together to gather, build, and repel successive attacks.
