Is Rising Front worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Players who want single-player battles with more than 1000 active units
- Strategy fans who want to switch between direct combat and army command
- Workshop users interested in adding maps, units, weapons, and buildable objects
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a tightly focused infantry shooter may find the combined command, construction, and vehicle systems too broad
- Those who prefer small tactical encounters may not want battles involving more than 1000 units
- Players looking for a campaign centered on one historical period may find the multi-era structure too dispersed
Our take on Rising Front
The large battlefield scale trades close control for delegation: players can fight directly, but many units are handled through army command and AI direction. The mix of eras, vehicles, aircraft, cavalry, construction, and workshop content also leaves less room for a narrowly focused combat format.
