Our take on Cute Invaders
Players who want a consistent combat viewpoint may hit a friction point when changing commander classes also changes the battle screen. Squad encounters also involve helping allies who are in danger or downed, so players who prefer to manage only their own character may find that system a poor fit.
What is Cute Invaders?
Cute Invaders follows a special-forces investigation team stranded near an island after a transport crash.
Combat features kaiju of varied sizes and types, knockback, and physics-driven situations. Side missions include attacking a secret base, suppressing giant kaiju, rescuing commanders or squad members, restoring locations, and supplying materials. Mission results affect the island’s condition. Six commander classes provide different specialties and alter the battle view, creating distinct play patterns. Squad members can assist allies in danger and revive one another after being downed. Battle rewards can be used to upgrade commanders and soldiers.
