Play it if you…
Good fit- Tower defense fans who want exploration and resource collection between enemy waves
- Small groups seeking cooperative base defense for up to 4 players

Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a short, fixed challenge may find the escalating waves, upgrades, and multi-planet campaign demanding
- Those who dislike managing resource collection, tower placement, and technological improvements may hit a wall during base defense
- Players looking only for a single-player experience may not use the co-op and PvP modes
Our take on Stellarcraft
The likely bounce point is the defense loop: players who do not enjoy gathering several resource types, selecting tower positions, and adjusting upgrades as enemy waves grow stronger may lose interest before reaching the later modes.
What is Stellarcraft?
Stellarcraft combines tower defense with exploration across alien planets.
Players gather minerals, energy, rare metals, and special materials, then use them to construct and improve defensive towers. Each planet has its own biomes, resources, enemies, and possible defense locations. Bases face progressively stronger enemy waves, requiring changes to tower placement and upgrades such as shields, ammunition, and abilities. Miners, drones, and automated extraction systems collect resources while bases expand. The game includes a campaign with missions across multiple planets, roguelite and endless modes with character improvement between runs, and a PvP mode where players send enemies against opponents. It supports solo play and co-op for up to 4 players.
