Rather than treating strategy as a separate planning layer, the game places factory construction, ingredient gathering, platforming, and defense in the same planetary play space. Soup production becomes the central objective around which exploration and combat are organized.
What is PixelJunk™ Nom Nom Galaxy?
Nom Nom Galaxy combines platforming, base construction, tower defense, exploration, resource gathering, and monster combat.
Players establish soup factories on unexplored planets, collect plants and animals, and turn those ingredients into recipes for galactic customers. SoupCo robots can automate production, gather materials, and defend facilities while rival corporations and local wildlife attack. Planetary environments change as bases expand. A separate S. O. O. P. Simulator mode removes corporate competition for building, harvesting, and exploration. Players can also create, explore, and share custom planets through the SoupCo Planet Database. The game supports local split-screen cooperation and online play for up to 4 players.
