Our take on Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap
Rather than keeping players at a distance to manage defenses, this tower-defense game puts the War Mage into the fight with third-person shooting and melee. Its waves also include roguelite choices and changing conditions, shifting the structure from static placement toward active combat and adaptation.
What is Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap?
Play as a War Mage defending a rift from waves of orcs and other creatures.
Combine third-person shooting and melee combat with trap placement, either alone or in co-op for up to four players. The game adjusts challenges and rewards to the number of players. Choose among War Mages with distinct weapons, abilities, and traps, then face waves affected by randomized buffs and debuffs, weather, and time of day. These conditions can change heroes, equipment, and levels. Between waves, return to a castle hub to strengthen a hero, weapons, and traps, or push onward toward a boss fight against an Orc General. Roguelite progression and build choices shape runs, while physics-based traps can launch, crush, slice, or burn enemies.
