What is Periphery Online?
Periphery Online is a massively multiplayer real-time strategy game set in a science-fiction universe.
Players begin as refugees on an uninhabited planet, where they manage units, establish bases, explore, mine resources, hunt animals, and develop an economy. Interaction with other players includes competition, combat, and diplomacy. Economic development can lead to building a space fleet, colonizing additional planets, and working toward control of Earth. The universe remains active while a player is offline: colonies continue construction, resource collection, repairs, and development on the server. Wars may continue for several months. Resource availability and competition vary by location, with distant planets offering places for exploration and quieter expansion.
