Our take on Project Rebearth
The defining structure is a persistent shared 1:1 replica of Earth, where every player builds settlements on the same real-world map and the world continues progressing in real time.
What is Project Rebearth?
Project Rebearth is a persistent online multiplayer game set 1,000 years after an unknown event erased civilization.
Players choose any location on a full-scale replica of Earth and establish settlements in biomes with different resources, materials, and challenges. Towns grow through gathering, inventory management, production chains, and choices with lasting consequences. Players trade resources, travel across the globe, and launch expeditions to find artifacts and reconstruct the planet’s history. Each in-game day lasts one day in real time, while farms and production continue during offline periods. The game has no combat and is structured for casual play across days and weeks. A sandbox mode allows locations to be built freely and exported as high-resolution maps.
How Project Rebearth plays

- All players inhabit the same full-scale version of Earth, with settlements placed in real-world locations.
- 02Biome-Based Settlements
- Deserts, polar regions, forests, and other areas provide distinct resources, building materials, and production chains.
- 03Persistent Production
- Farms and workers continue producing resources while players are offline.
- 04Artifact Expeditions
- Expeditions uncover artifacts and clues connected to the planet’s lost history.
- 05High-Resolution Map Export
- Sandbox locations can be exported as high-resolution maps for map-making or offline adventures.
