Our take on Ascent - The Space Game
Outside the nine-system Apollo Sector, the game world is built by players: colonies, starbases, markets, governments and jump gates all extend through shared construction and decisions.
What is Ascent - The Space Game?
Ascent is a player-versus-environment space MMO set across more than 270 billion star systems.
Outside the nine-system Apollo Sector, players create colonies, starbases, jump gates, markets and governments. The gameplay combines exploration, planetary farming, asteroid mining, gas harvesting, research, manufacturing, trading and manually controlled space combat. Players can construct bases, customize ships, sell manufactured equipment, undertake combat and transport missions, and participate in player elections. NPC colonies can be hired for trading or used in smuggling operations involving restricted goods. The game supports solo activities as well as community projects, including bounty-based exploration and large colonization efforts. 97 per month, while unpaid accounts retain assets but have restricted access.
