Our take on Imagine Earth
The game combines economic expansion with environmental consequences, so growth is tied to managing pollution, emissions, disasters, and living conditions. That broad management scope leaves less room for a narrowly focused combat or production experience.
What is Imagine Earth?
Manage colonies across distant planets in a real-time strategy and planet simulation game.
Build power plants, farms, factories, and other constructs while managing energy, resources, production, and trade. Research technologies, expand cities, and maintain living conditions as pollution, emissions, rising temperatures, melting polar caps, and disasters affect each world. Economic and diplomatic systems support trade with colonies, merchants, natives, and alien groups, while competing corporations can be challenged through share purchases and takeovers. The campaign contains 9 planets and missions. Competition mode supports play against up to 5 AI factions. Freeplay uses procedural planet generation, and the Planet Editor allows terraforming and customization of saved planets.
