STAND departs from standard tower defense by placing the central defensive objective inside a bullet-hell roguelike structure. Survivor teams, character outfits, permanent skills, and equipment combinations become part of the defense, replacing a purely placement-focused format with active combat and build selection.
What is STAND: Survive, Team-up, And Never Die?
STAND combines tower defense with roguelike progression in a ruined setting filled with zombies, mutants, and other threats.
Survivors join the fight as players alter characters, select abilities, and assemble weapons and items into different builds. The goal is to protect a central tower through unending enemy assaults, with combat presented as a fast bullet-hell battle. The base game offers 5 chapters, several difficulty options, lasting skill improvements, over 200 costumes, Steam Achievements, leaderboards, and repeatable runs. The Plagues of Oblivion expansion adds 3 chapters, more than 60 weapons, spells and items, additional skills, and 14 enemy varieties, including spiders and dragons.
