Our take on Rouge Tank
Players looking for one consistent control scheme or progression system may bounce when the collection moves from bullet-hell combat and Atari-inspired puzzles to RoboTower, an endless runner, and a dungeon crawler.
What is Rouge Tank?
Rouge Tank combines four games in one package.
Its main game is a 2D bullet-hell experience in which players fend off strange monsters, alongside a puzzle game inspired by Atari’s Adventure. Different modes and unlockable skills add variation to the main gameplay, with Steam achievements also included. The package also contains RoboTower, an endless runner, and a dungeon crawler without a stated name. Rouge Tank was made with a custom C++ engine using the SFML API, while the additional games were made in Java Processing and launched through the Rouge Tank engine. Maciaz contributed art to Rouge Tank and the dungeon crawler.
