What is Shift 87?
Shift 87 is a first-person observation horror game built around identifying changes in familiar environments.
Each level must be studied and remembered before deviations are reported through a designated device. Incorrect reports reset the sequence. The game includes 66 anomalies across three handcrafted environments, ranging from minor alterations to disturbing events. Runs are randomly generated, so anomaly placement and occurrences can differ between playthroughs. A complete run takes around 2–3 hours. The central objective is to locate and report every anomaly before the shift ends, while maintaining focus as the environments become increasingly unsettling.
