We tell you who should skip it, too.

Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a slow-paced experience may hit a wall when the beat ’em up combat begins.
- Players who prefer a single fixed combat style may find the four characters’ distinct systems and special moves demanding to learn.
- Players looking for a climbing puzzle, runner, or shooting game may find its focus on close-combat action mismatched.
Our take on Russian Reality
Players who want one stable moveset may bounce when choosing among four characters: each has a distinct combat system and special techniques. The boss encounters add another point of friction, since the game calls for different approaches rather than relying on one repeated tactic.
What is Russian Reality?
Set in a near-future Russia, the game follows an operation to rescue the only presidential candidate after the candidate mysteriously disappears before an election.
Travel through different parts of the country and fight enemies ranging from former boxers to formidable grandmothers. Choose from four characters, each with a distinct combat system and special moves. Build combinations from basic attacks and special techniques, take on bosses that call for different approaches, and follow a branching story. Side quests and character progression are also included. The game presents its action through satirical themes and beat ’em up combat.
