Our take on Albacete Warrior
The focus on direct beat ’em up combat gives less room to the slower exploration and puzzle-solving found in climbing-led adventures. Local co-op also requires players to share the same location.
What is Albacete Warrior?
Albacete Warrior is a satirical beat ’em up starring Benito Waters, a ninja from Albacete, Spain.
After receiving an important task from his master, Paco, Benito begins a worldwide adventure with Pepito the chicken, his companion and main weapon. Gameplay combines close-range combat against waves of enemies with climbing sections. The game supports solo play and local cooperative play with a friend. Its story uses absurd humor around Benito’s attempt to fulfill an ancient prophecy and become the chosen one. Combat features exaggerated attacks and pixelated blood as Benito fights through his odyssey with Pepito.
