- Players who do not enjoy managing contracts, injuries, aging, and character replacements may find the roster systems demanding.
Our take on Redemption: Eternal Quest
The central structure is roster management: a leader sends a changing band of 6 adventurers into quests, while their development, health, and relationships unfold across seasons.
What is Redemption: Eternal Quest?
Lead a roster of 6 adventurers, each with individual strengths, weaknesses, bonuses, and hidden mysteries.
Send them on missions and quests, choosing between safer journeys with limited danger and riskier ones with greater rewards. Characters gain experience and may develop differently over time, while aging, injuries, and disease affect the roster. They also form relationships and can be kept on contracts, called pacts, with terms that may include upfront or yearly payments or a share of treasure. Train characters or replace them with experienced hires. Campaigns can use time or quest limits, or continue through unlimited seasons. Each game generates new content, and combat uses cards against more than 200 monsters.
