We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Roguelike players who want turn-based combat shaped by body-part damage
- Strategy players who enjoy random events and branching expedition routes
- RPG players who prefer experimenting with traits, trinkets, and evolving character builds
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a fixed campaign may dislike expeditions built around randomly generated rooms, routes, and events.
- Players who want stable character abilities may hit a wall when limb injuries disable skills and random rewards shape progression.
- Players looking for a real-time management game may not find the turn-based structure suitable.
Our take on Dungeon No Dungeon
Players who want predictable builds may bounce when skill rewards are rolled from three options and attributes change through events instead of level-ups. Those seeking consistent routes may hit another wall at the expedition fork, where room placement and available paths vary.
What is Dungeon No Dungeon?
Dungeon No Dungeon is a turn-based roguelike built around body-part consequences.
Limbs can be severed, disabling skills that depend on them, while damaged armor changes a character’s state. Characters progress through 20 levels, beginning with one skill and choosing from three rolled options after leveling. Each character has around 20 possible skills, with further skills available through random events after level 10. More than 100 trinkets and 100 traits support different builds, while attributes change through events rather than level-ups. Expeditions use randomly generated rooms, routes, terrain, enemies, shops, resting areas, puzzles, mini-games, and nearly 100 luck-based events. Forks let players choose a direction, and some expeditions may include invasions involving other players.

- 03Build Customization
- More than 100 trinkets and 100 traits can be combined with characters.

- 05Player Invasions
- Some expeditions can include encounters with other players that offer additional rewards for a win.
